Carlos Ruiz is the President of Zenith US Terminals, bringing over 25 years of expertise in the energy sector. Prior to the President role, Carlos spent nine years as the Chief Financial Officer of Zenith Energy, where he played a pivotal role in the company's overall strategy, financial management and operations.
Before joining Zenith, Carlos worked for over 16 years in energy investment banking, as a Managing Director with the Natural Resources Group at Barclays Capital. In that capacity, he provided M&A and capital raising advisory services to both public and private companies in the midstream, upstream, and oilfield service sectors.
Carlos earned his MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and holds a BA from McGill University in Montreal.
